Job Description:

Jovie Nannies is seeking a caring and responsible part-time nanny for a family with two children, ages 2 and 4. The family is looking for a long-term nanny to provide consistent care throughout the year.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM

For approximately 3 weeks in August, the schedule may shift to 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM.

Start Date:

Targeting a start date of May 19th

Responsibilities:

Provide engaging and attentive care for two children, ages 2 and 4.

Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including play, reading, and learning activities.

Assist with meal preparation for the children, including preparing lunch boxes and water bottles.

Maintain a safe and tidy environment for the children.

Follow the family's household rules

Help the children adjust to their mother working from home.

Child Information:

4-year-old: Curious, loves monster trucks and construction vehicles, enjoys puzzles, and attends preschool. Social and sensitive, expresses feelings openly.

2-year-old: Talkative and expressive. Loves singing, dancing, and Minnie Mouse. Enjoys things her brother likes, such as Monster Trucks. Still nurses occasionally. Potty training is in progress, with a goal to be completed before June 2nd. Typically naps around 2:00 PM but can be flexible (except Wednesdays, when a nap is important). A good eater and willing to try new foods.

Home Information:

The family lives off 470 and View High, with quick access to the highway.

Shoes are not worn in the house.

A calm Labrador is present in the home.

A housekeeper comes every two weeks.

Both parents work from home.

Ideal Nanny:

Experienced nanny with at least 2 years of experience.

Warm, responsible, and reliable.

Comfortable working in a home with parents present.

Willing to help with light household tasks related to childcare.

Open to occasional evening and weekend babysitting.

If willing, open to occasional travel (e.g., to Chicago or San Francisco).

Certifications or relevant education is a plus.

The family would like to have a "warm-up" or trial period with the nanny.

Jovie Nannies of Greater Kansas City is seeking a reliable and energetic nanny to provide before and after school care for two wonderful children, ages 6 and 5! This is a part-time position during the school year, transitioning into a full-time role over the summer. Schedule:

M,T,F : 6:30am-5:30 pm

Responsibilities:

Providing safe and attentive care for two children, ages 6 and 5.

Preparing breakfast and morning snacks.

Transporting oldest child to and from school.

Assisting with homework or school-related activities.

Engaging children in age-appropriate play and activities.

Preparing afternoon snacks and light meals.

Light housework related to the children (tidying play areas, children’s laundry, etc.)

Planning and facilitating fun and engaging activities during the day and summer for both children.

Qualifications:

Previous childcare experience (nannying with this age group)

Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

A positive, patient, and engaging personality.

Ability to prepare simple meals and snacks.

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Background check and references required.

Experience with elementary aged children.

Ideal Candidate:
