A bit about us: We’re a warm, active family seeking an experienced nanny to care for our preschool-aged son during weekday afternoons and evenings. With both parents working full-time, we value quality family time and are looking for a nanny who will feel like an extension of our family, someone who’s engaged, playful, and intentional. Our son is beginning preschool this fall, and we’re excited to find a caregiver who can support his learning and development after school.

A bit about you: You’re a warm, attentive, and engaging caregiver with experience supporting toddlers and preschoolers through developmental play, reading, and early learning. You know how to gently connect with shy children and help them feel comfortable and excited to engage. You take initiative in planning fun, enriching activities and are confident driving with a clean record. Most importantly, you’re looking for more than a babysitting role, you enjoy fostering learning and building meaningful connections with the children in your care.

Job Duties: You will be responsible for picking up our son from preschool and caring for him until bedtime. This includes providing a snack, engaging him in play-based learning, reading books, outdoor time at the park (weather permitting), supervising mealtime, helping with bedtime routines, and tidying up any toys or materials used during the day. While dinner is prepared by our family, light snack prep and help with child-related cleanup is expected. Sundays are optional but would be greatly appreciated if you are open to them. Compensation + Benefits:
- Hourly guaranteed wage of $25 for 70 hours per pay period (biweekly). Weekly overtime above 40 hours will be paid at a 1.5 hourly rate or approximately $37.50 per hour.
- When worked, the following holidays will be paid at a 1.5 hourly rate: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve or Day, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day
- You are guaranteed pay for 70 hours every two-week pay period, regardless of the number of assignments you receive. If you work more than 40 hours in a single week, overtime pay will be added to your biweekly paycheck.

Jovie is hiring experienced babysitters to provide care to our local families on evenings and weekends. The flexible babysitting job would be 4+ hour shifts, typically during the days of Friday through Sunday, and the times of 4pm-Midnight. Weekday afternoon and evening hours are also available. Care could include making and providing meals, engaging in activities such as arts and crafts, board/card games, baking, outdoor play, bedtime routine, common sense clean up, and supervising the children until parents arrive home.
