Job Description:

An awesome young family in Naperville is looking for a full time, long term nanny to grow with their family and help them raise their two children, although care at this time will only be for their 1.5 year old as mom is due with baby number two in August. Mom and dad are down to Earth and although they keep a routine, they also are flexible and understand that some days will have more structure than others. Their little girl is full of personality and energy, and is a social butterfly.

Their ideal nanny is someone with an intense background in childcare, whether that is as a teacher, career nanny, mother, etc. They’d like someone with more than 10 years of experience in the field, and someone who can help them navigate the ever-changing world of children and parenting. They are hoping to find a nanny who can stay with them for years to come and become a part of their family. They love the idea of their nanny taking the children on adventures to parks, libraries, zoos, etc.

Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm
Requirements, per family request

Nanny must:
- Have 10+ years of childcare experience (negotiable for the right candidate)
- Actively engage through play and imagination while on the job
- Be vaccinated for tDap, measles, and mumps
- Be kind, caring, and compassionate
- Have experience with both infants and toddlers
- Be a non-smoker
Compensation
- This position is hourly and pays between $18-$25/hr, pre-tax, based on experience
- Additional opportunities for supplemental income are available

This family has a very happy baby girl born 1/14/2025. They have had grandparents helping out up until now and they are looking for help on T,W,F. They would love it is the person also spoke Spanish, but not required. Dad is in law enforcement, so you must be comfortable with a gun safe in the house.. They are looking for a great communicator, who can help the family learn and grow with their baby. They are a no outside shoe household, so please bring a pair of slippers or house shoes.. They have a Golden Retriever named Duncan. They would like someone who has the standard vaccines required for daycares. Great communication skills are necessary to build a long-lasting relationship, as mom and dad are seeking someone who can become a part of their family.

Schedule

Tue, W, Friday 10am-6pm, but this could change, you will always know your schedule a month in advance, it will always be 3 days

Be kind, caring, and compassionate

Great communicator, experienced in infant care

This family has no pets and does not allow outdoor shoes to be worn in their home, house shoes are fine. This family has an adorable little girl who is looking for someone who is loving and caring and can follow the schedule that works best for her. The family would like someone to work Tue-Thurs from 8:45-4:45. Mom speaks Spanish at home and dad speaks English, so someone who is bilingual would be ideal, but not required. They live in a townhouse with 3 floors, so there will be lots of stair climbing throughout the day. Their daughter takes a while to warm up, but once she knows you she will be your best friend. This is a no screen household.
