Are you looking for a babysitting role that fits your schedule? Jovie of San Antonio is seeking dependable and enthusiastic sitters to join our team! With our unique scheduling system, you can take control of your time by downloading our app and setting your availability 1-2 months in advance. From there, we’ll match you with families within a 30-mile radius who need care during the times you’re available. Babysitter positions may include After-School pick-up, date nights, church nursery shifts, weekend coverage, or periodic care dates, depending on your availability. This is the perfect opportunity for sitters who value flexibility, variety, and working with a range of wonderful families.

Responsibilities:
- Ensuring Safety – Monitoring children closely to prevent accidents, keeping hazardous items out of reach, and following emergency procedures.
- Feeding and Meal Preparation – Preparing and serving age-appropriate meals and snacks, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
- Diapering and Toileting Assistance – Changing diapers for infants and toddlers, assisting young children with toilet training, and promoting hygiene.
- Supervising Activities – Engaging children in age-appropriate activities, including playtime, crafts, reading, and educational tasks.
- Providing Emotional Support – Comforting upset children, offering positive reinforcement, and maintaining a nurturing environment.
- Managing Sleep and Nap Schedules – Putting babies and toddlers to sleep, ensuring older children follow bedtime routines, and maintaining consistency.
- Helping with Homework – Assisting school-aged children with assignments, studying, and school projects when needed.
- Transporting and Outings – Taking children to school, activities, or parks while ensuring safety in transit.

- Communicating with Parents – Providing updates on the child's behavior, activities, and any concerns while following parental instructions.

What we’re looking for:

• Availability for at least 2 full days per week (Mon – Fri).

• 1+ years of professional childcare experience with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or school-aged children (reflected in your resume).

• 3-4 professional childcare references. (Non-Family Related)

• Excellent communication skills and a positive, adaptable attitude.

• CPR/First Aid Certification

• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation of your own.

• Must be 18 years or older.

Compensation and Benefits:

+ Insurance Benefits: Dental, Vision, Life (Must meet Full-Time hours)

+ Pay: $15.75 - $16.25 per hour, paid bi-weekly via direct deposit.

We are looking for a calm, confident, and nurturing nanny to join a warm and welcoming family in San Antonio! Care will be for two sweet children — a 5-month-old and a busy, curious 2-year-old — in a Montessori-inspired home that values independence, respect, and developmentally appropriate engagement.

Mom and Dad are looking for a reliable partner who can keep the children engaged through purposeful play, maintain routines, and offer gentle structure to their day. This is a long-term position with consistent hours, a thoughtful parenting approach, and two grateful parents who truly value their nanny.

Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Start Date: Immediate Start
Compensation: $16.50–$17.00/HR

Responsibilities:
- Provide full-day care for 5-month-old and 2-year-old
- Maintain feeding, diapering, and nap routines
- Engage in Montessori-style developmental playLight child-related housekeeping (laundry, bottles, tidying play areas)
- Support a calm, safe, and structured environment
Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required prior to hire
