Franchise Owner

As a veteran of the corporate world with 20 years of sales and field management experience, Susan has worked in both the education sector with Lifetouch National School Studios and Herff Jones Corporation. She’s also held management positions within the staffing industry with Olsten Staffing and kforce.com. Susan chose Jovie as a way to “Leave it better.” Matching families with the proper role model leading to a stronger family fulfills her desire. Susan owns and operates franchises in the following locations: Charlotte, North Carolina; Cincinnati, Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio; and Arlington, Virginia. Susan is also actively involved in Make–A–Wish Foundation and has been since 1999. With Make–A–Wish she has chaired fundraising events, spoken on behalf of the organization, but her true love is meeting wish kids and their families and helping make that wish come true. Susan has participated in over 50 wishes and feels honored to be part of such a magical organization. She is also a board member of The Breathing Association and The Columbus Dance Academy. Susan is a native of Ohio, having lived in Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Columbus, and now enjoys traveling to the various Jovie offices.

Kim joined Jovie with more than 20 years of sales, management, and staffing experience. She is passionate about recruiting and working with candidates to identify opportunities. Kim brings a unique combination of management and customer relationship expertise to her role at Jovie. She enjoys working with a team and using a resourceful approach to problem-solving.

Aly F.

Director of Sales

Aly services clients across Ohio, Virginia, and North Carolina. She also manages administrative staff across multiple territories and also is the lead on Business to Business sales. Her dedication to developing and expanding clients in all divisions of Jovie has enabled us to increase our offerings across events, resorts, and church care.  She credits her favorite part of the job to be able to build quality and longstanding relationships with families and local businesses. Aly brings 15 years of staffing and recruiting experience to the team. 6 years of that experience has been within the childcare staffing industry. She originally comes from Iowa but is happy to call North Carolina home. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the mountains with her husband and daughter, Emma, reading, and supporting local non-profits. Aly was awarded Charlotte's Top 30 Under 30 for her hard work with the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte, and also an Excellence in Leadership Award by the Young Professionals of Charlotte.

Client Success Manager

William helps place phenomenal nannies and sitters with our families. He works to provide as quick a turnaround as possible for families in immediate need and starts sourcing nannies for placements down the road.  He is based out of the Charlotte office where he has been for over twelve years, receiving a BA and MA in History and UNC Charlotte. He has worked in client-facing roles for over fifteen years, most recently being employed in the tech sector as a client relationship manager, and truly believes in a client-first approach. In his free time, he loves spending time with his lovely wife and two cats and planning the next trip around the world.

Role Model Manager

Ariel works to support our caregivers and families, striving to make a  perfect match between the two. Ariel received a bachelor's degree in Psychology from UNC Wilmington and dedicated her college years to working with a service dog organization and a nonprofit Children’s Museum. After graduating, she worked in social media marketing and managed a team of interns and content creators. Ariel later joined the administrative team at Jovie to focus her career in HR.  During her free time she loves to travel, scrapbook, and spend time with family.
