Professional Nanny Position: Long-Term Infant Care Specialist

Job Description:

• 
  A professional, WFH family in Las Vegas is seeking an experienced, long-term Nanny for their infant daughter, who will be approximately 5 months old at the start date. This position requires a highly reliable candidate with extensive infant experience and a commitment to developmental care.
  
  Schedule & Duration
  
  Start Date: Monday, January 5th
  
  Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  
  Days: 3 days per week (Flexible for placement, consistent once schedule starts; preferred days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday)
  
  Commitment: A long-term commitment of 9–12 months minimum is required.
  
  Child Profile (5-Month-Old Female)
  
  
  • The infant is currently following an eat, sleep, wake cycle. Care will involve combination feeding (bottles of breast milk/formula), maintaining a consistent nap schedule, and engaging in age-appropriate play.
  • Enrichment: Strict no-screen policy is enforced. The focus should be on reading, singing, talking, tummy time, and age-appropriate sensory play.

  • Health: The child is currently healthy, with minor occasional gas/stomach discomfort.
  • 
    
  • Future Planning: Nanny should be comfortable supporting a transition to solids using the Baby-Led Weaning approach after six months.
  
  
  Responsibilities & Duties
  
  
  • Duties are focused exclusively on the care and well-being of the child and are performed while the infant is awake or during naptime:
  • Full supervision and safety of the infant.
  • Following and adapting the feeding and sleep schedule.
  • All child-related laundry.
  • Washing and sanitizing all bottles and feeding supplies.
  • Maintaining and restocking the diaper station and managing the diaper pail.
  
  
  Candidate Requirements (Mandatory)
  
  
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of verifiable, professional infant care experience (nanny or daycare setting).
  • Health: Must be fully up-to-date on all vaccinations (non-negotiable).
  • 
    
  • Punctuality: Absolute reliability and punctuality are required for the 7:00 AM start time.
  • 
    
  • Commitment: Willingness to commit to the family for 9–12 months.
  • 
    
  • Environment: Must be comfortable working in a home with two WFH parents and being around a small, elderly dog who is very mellow.
  
  
  Ideal Candidate Profile (Preferences)
